Hello!
I try to make lesson 10 (First Steps - Particles) from SideFX (Ari Danesh).
I have problem in “Particle Disturbance” part of lesson.
The movement of particles from the lesson can be seen in Movie1.
The movement of particles in my H13 can be seen in Movie2.
Why is this happening?

Well, no one wants to download videos…
I will try to explain on the pictures… Pictures 1 and 2 show the movement of the lesson. Metaball when driving, leaves a trace, like a ship on the water. When I run the same lesson, all the points are returned to their original places. (pic 3 and 4)
What could be the reason?

Yes, this is example https://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2202&Itemid=361 [sidefx.com] for H12.
And I have it does not work, as in the example.
Just does not work example ParticleDisturbance [sidefx.com]from the help file H13.

As the other post indicated you are following a tutorial that uses the old deprecated particle system. I uploaded a video for you to show you how to do them in the new H13/H14 particle system.
