Hello
I am fairly new to Houdini but making progress but there is one thing I really don't understand and that is correct workflow when saving and directories.
I am trying to bake an agent for a crowd sim, pretty simple stuff, but when I do that I get a warning sign and the message…
Warning Could not create directory ‘CProgram Files/Side Effects Software/Houdini 16.0.557/bin/agents/mocapbiped1’.
So, whats the conflict here? Does it have to do with the DRIVERPATH?
I am using Houdini 16.0.557, Windows 10 64bit

Hello,
I am in Houdini Apprentice 16, trying out the Billowy Smoke tutorial Billowy Smoke tutorial [sidefx.com] but I am running into a problem. I assume that the tutorial is done in an older version of Houdini because I am not getting the same results and I think I have followed the tutorial correctly. At around 1:46 in the tutorial my smoke just remains stuck in the sphere shape and doesn't emit upwards like in the tutorial. What could I be doing wrong?

Hello everyone,
First post here.
I just recently purchased Houdini Indie and would like to get started learning the software asap. My situation currently is that I am on a Mac for another week before switching over to a PC build that isn't complete yet. Since I want to get started learning now on the Mac will I get into a licensing problem next week when I want to switch Houdini Indie over to the PC?
