Right now the Scene View inspector returns the final graded/clamped colour. There is an existing RFE to inspect the "raw" (pre-grading/pre-clamping) values, but I'm afraid we've not yet gotten to it.

Do you have any way of telling whether the files were from successful or failed renders? I believe we're doing a fairly good job of tidying up after ourselves when Houdini shuts down cleanly, so I'm curious to hear more about your situation.

you need to create a Configure Layer node, and set the correct path to your Renderman RenderSettings into the Render Settings field

While it is still good practice to do this, as of 20.0.700 it shouldn't be strictly necessary any more (for the Ocean Procedural to work).
